This past week, the Iraqi cabinet of Prime Minister al Maliki turned down a proposed security pact that would legitimatize the presence of US troops after the expiration of the UN resolution allowing US forces to be present.  That resolution expires at the end of the year.  The Iraqis want unspecified changes to the agreement.  This looks like a good time for the roundup.
