Recruiting Providers, CDC on Autism, and Killer Bees |
|
This week, I return after a bit of a hiatus. I'll be looking at the Washington, D.C. metro area's recruiting success. They've been able to hire and fill their staffing needs while parts of the nation can't get EMS coverage because of lack of crews. I also link to a strongly worded report from the CDC about parental concerns regarding vaccines and autism. The short version is -- They have found no link between autism and vaccine preservatives despite scrutiny and study by the nations top medical researchers. And I round out the show with kudos for a South African paramedic who braved an african bee swarm attacking an elderly man. This despite the paramedic's own allergy to bee stings.
